Caffi's Shrine (Santuario dei Caffi)

Sanctuary built in 1902.

Tradition says that the church was built remembering the miracle involving a 13-year-old girl, mute from birth, who saw Our Lady while she was grazing with her flock.

After the vision, the young girl would come back to talk.

In the place of the presumed meeting, the Sanctuary was built.

Since 1967, the ANA Alpini members of Asti have chosen the Sanctuary as a meeting point for their annual gathering, which takes place every last Sunday in May.
